The first day (right before we left), Liah got really sick. Bryan gave her a blessing, and within an hour, she was feeling like herself again. I thought we were in the clear, but Zerin picked up right where she left off. He had it worse than Liah, and his lasted an entire day, but after Bryan and Alex gave him a blessing, he seemed to be much better. Then Belen got it. She actually got a fever that was over 103. It was in the middle of the night, and I couldn't wake Bryan up, so I ended up driving an hour trying to find an store for some ibuprofen and a thermometer. I ended up spending all three nights holding sick kids through the night, but I think I was blessed because I didn't feel too tired until the drive home. Of course, now that I can sleep, I can't sleep :) My nephew was the only other one that seemed to get sick while we were up there, but by the end of the day, he seemed to be doing better. Nothing like bringing a nasty bug to a family reunion to liven things up a bit ;)
Some of the highlights were...
a very WINDY trip to the beach.
Asher kept wandering over to the kids that were hanging out on the beach next to us. I was a little horrified to see him chugging their leftover rootbeer...thank goodness that's all it was!

Great photos. I won't be able to download mine probably until tomorrow night. Thanks for all you did to make it come together, esp. the games and activities for the children.
