Changes, Charms, Chores, and Cherished Moments

My sweet friend, Amy H., made it so I could do this. Soooo nice for summer!!! My hair is no longer a walking hair color catalog (since it was like 5 different colors root to tip)!!! I love it!!! Thank you, Amy, and thank you Jen for doing it. By the way, yes I know that cameras add 50 lbs to my forehead and chin :(

I made mommy necklaces for my sisters-in-law for their birthdays and decided to make me one too. I've wanted a mother's necklace since I was little, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. SUPER easy and pretty cheap too!

I am doing a friend's flowers for her wedding Thursday. I love playing with flowers, but the anxiety I'm giving myself over it will not be missed once it's over :).

Camp Monson starts next week! That came around QUICKLY! I went overboard as usual, but the kids will have fun I think/hope, and that's all that matters right :) On the last day, the kids are going to make President Monson birthday cards (his birthday's in August), and then we are making a slideshow of all the acts of service they will be doing, and putting it to "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus." The kids will all get a copy, but I'm also going to send one to President Monson with their little birthday cards. Not nearly as cute and original as the warm fuzzies, but I hope he'll like it :)

Next week is also our Relief Society dutch oven social that I'm in charge of. This calling is definitely stretching me...I guess that's a good thing :)

Today we are going to use our zoo pass for the first time today! We're tagging along with my sis-in-law that is visiting from Colorado. My kids are sooooo excited!!! This is an opportunity we certainly wouldn't have otherwise had...thank you zoo friend! :)
