Delicious Ambiguity

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity." Gilda Radner

I saw this quote on a friend's Facebook page this morning, and it just struck a resonate chord in my soul. This is what life is, especially my last 5 years. It's hard, but it's so, so good. As we head into this next month with all of the doctor visits, tests, etc, along with all of the uncertainty that it holds, I find myself "taking the moment" more and worrying less about all of the what-if's on my horizon. I still worry, just less :)

I love that quote. Wonder how close to her death she penned (or said) it.

So, basically you're saying that since you met me, things haven't made any sense. Thanks, I appreciate that.

A lesson I definately need--to enjoy the moment, or be in the moment and not worry so much about the 'what if's" that lie ahead. Too many of those that really don't matter.
