Last night was my cooking class or whatever we want to call it (I didn't actually cook for it oddly enough ;)). It went pretty good. I'm going to put the recipes and tips on here in an upcoming post. I'd do it now, but the stuff is all upstairs, and that's a lot of stairs.
Today, Bryan is going to be home, so I'm planning to get some organizing done. There are some trouble spots in this house that have turned into stashing bottomless pits. I made it through Zerin's closet, and that was by far the worst, so I think I can plow through the rest without trouble...hopefully ;)
I got the bassinet up a couple days ago, it seems crazy there is going to be another little person in it soon... I was going to make her a new crib set (after I finished Liah's school clothes), but I found a super cute one at kid to kid that was in uber-good shape, so I got it instead. I feel a little guilty, but I'm just about over it ;)
Oh, and the newest happy thought of my existence...
AEDEN IS OFFICIALLY TOTALLY POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!!
And it's pretty much all Zerin's fault! It's funny how a big brother can motivate when no other being alive has the power to do so. For our reward dinner, we all went out to McDonalds (or Uncle Donald's as Aeden calls it) and the kids played and dined on happy meals. I realized Zerin was so motivated about the happy meal that he in turn did everything in his power to get Aeden to use the big boy potty. Never underestimate the power and determination of a hungry 7 year old, that's all I can say :)

I'm still struggling with my Canon and the potty. However, once again, you have inspired me! I am TOTALLY going to work the big brother angle.
YAY! Way to go Aeden...and Zerin. I'll buy him a Happy Meal if he will come over and potty train Ethan :)

After reading some of the items on your never ending to do list I have officially decided you are one of the most motivated people I know or maybe you're just insane.
I am glad that you are over buying the crib bedding. And I am glad that your cooking class went well...sorry I missed it.
