I had the adventure of taking Asher to get his little tests today. It was a little more involved than I had hoped, but all's well that ends well. We started at the IHC clinic in Bountiful while my mom in law watched the other kids (bless her!). They took his blood (awful!). It took them about 4 pokes and a lot of proding around, but they finally found a vein. They told us we had to go to PCMC to get the other 2 tests done, but oh, the nurse crossed out the order so I had to go back to the doctor to get another one. Nice. So I did that...all is well. So, then I pack everyone up and head up to Primary's. It was such a beautiful day, it was fun to go on a little "field trip" of sorts with all the kids. We made it through both tests...a chest x-ray (not fun) and some kind of a nasal suction thingie (awful awful awful) in record time. The kids were SOOOOO good! Seriously, it was a little scary how well behaved they all were. Blessings, blessings, blessings.
So then began the waiting game... originally, they told me we'd hear back on the results within a couple of hours, but when 5 pm rolled around and I still hadn't heard anything, I started stressing and called. No news yet. At 6:30, we got a call that all the results weren't in yet, but that his chest xray did show signs of this respiratory virus they were concerned about.
I'm sure it will all be fine, but oh my gosh, I've seriously had enough of this kind of stuff. Give me the lazy Tuesday driving carpool with scrubbing baseboards and keeping up on the laundry. I want that life! Okay, that's a fib. I love my life, but would a little less drama be too much to ask? :)

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah me too. Sign me up for the less dramatic life - I'll scrub baseboards any day :) Really though, I hope everything goes well with the little guy and that you get some answers soon. He is seriously the cutest little thing I've ever seen. He definitely melted my heart :)
That poor little guy! Those tests sound so awful! I think I would be in tears just watching!
