Did you know doctors go to work at 7 am? I certainly didn't, but in an effort to know when they opened so I could get the first appointment, that's when I called, and yep, they were in! Not only that, but guess when they got me in for??? 7:40 am!!! I couldn't believe it, I was so excited! So, after dropping half of the kids off for their ride to school, I took their youngest and Asher to this doctor...just to make sure that those bumps and bruises from day 1 were nothing more than that, and guess what??? Everything looked fine! Happy day :) I emailed his parents the good news, so hopefully they will be able to check their email so they aren't stressing. I have a whole other list of reasons why this doctor was just awesome beyond measure and the call of duty and everything else, but this is turning into a long post, so I'll spare you :)
Around 11, I was getting tired of waiting for Asher's doctor to call...mostly because Asher had broken out in a horrible head to toe rash overnight (it is all blistery and just nasty looking). By this time, I had dropped the last 2 of my friends' kids off at their next destination, so I took my 3 kids and headed to our pediatrician. I am not the most patient person, I know, but by this time, I was a bit of a wreck, so I camped out in the waiting room...knowing full well that a rash covered baby in plain sight would motivate some action. The sweet nurse took us back, gave him a strep test...we waited waited waited, and to my relief...he has no strep...no bacteria...just a really nasty resiratory virus. It could be RSV, but if it is, it hasn't progressed into the symptoms that make RSV so awful so we're good. I feel bad for my sweet little baby. He just looks so miserable, and day 11 he STILL has a fever! They told me if it isn't gone by Monday I have to come back in, but I'm thinking it will be...I hope it will be :)
Now, I'm getting ready to take myself to the doctor...just a normal prenatal visit, so yay for mundane! So ends my marathon of doctor visits for the week.

It's only been 1 hour and I'm looking for mundae already! Isn't that pathetic?! you're my hero!
Tiffany, you are so amazing to me...I hope Asher feels better soon. It was fun talking to you today, and it is classic you that you wouldn't even mention everything that had happened today and how sick your poor child is. Hang in there!
