Against my wishes and requests, Belen is continuing to grow up. A little over 2 weeks ago, she turned two. Her little personality has been exploding along with her vocabulary. She loves to read to her babies at night. Bryan and I just sit in bed and laugh as we listen to her "read" with all sorts of emotion to her stuffed animals and Rapunzel doll :) Bryan captured her tired look here...middle fingers in the mouth, froggie in her other hand, and the tag pressed up against her little cheek. It's a picture I hope I never forget.
I am embarrassed to even put this picture up because the cake is one only a 2 year old could love. But I love it that her little toes are poking out from under the pan.
Here she is telling one of her stories. She is so full of life and personality, she makes me smile constantly. Unless she's destroying something, then she makes me want to swear. But most of the time, she makes me smile :) I love it when her little blonde pigtails bounce as she waddle/thuds down the sidewalk. When Bryan asks her who made her look so cute, she always says "Mommy did it!" When I ask her who dressed her so cute, she always says "Daddy did it!" When Bryan gets home, she shreaks "DADDY!" and runs to grab his leg. She LOVES her Daddy.
I love her little feet!
Here she is working hard in the garden. She was even conscientious enough to put a glove on while she was digging. I suppose this solves the mystery about why none of my spring bulbs in this area of the garden never came up :)
