What a daddy...

I figured I would take a minute to catch up on some of the fun things Bryan has been doing with the kids over the last 3 weeks.  I feel like the biggest absentee parent right now, but at least I know the kids are having their favorite summer in years :)
Zerin and Bryan worked together on Zerin's all black, super industrial egg-holding rocket.  He launched it twice, and both times it went as high as the biggest tree there.  It was definitely one of the better ones.  He was pretty proud...'he' meaning both of them :)
Bike rides...lots and lots of bike rides
A Sunday trip to Temple Square.  I think this is one of my favorite pictures ever :)
Bryan has been giving the kids swimming lessons almost every day for the last 3 weeks.  This is one of the few times Bella went.  Her fearlessness makes her more of a one-on-one kind of girl :)
All 4 older kids are now floating and/or swimming.  They have all learned more in the last 3 weeks than they have in over 6 years of swimming lessons!
This is my little guy that is terrified of the water...can you see that smile?!  Daddys work miracles.
Liah is a natural fish, except that she has been scared to death to put her face in the water.  She is now the family expert on the dead man's float!  Again, Daddy's amazing.
Zerin has gone from only being able to doggie paddle and float on his back to swimming across the short end of the pool!   With me as a mom, I didn't think I'd ever see my kids swimming this well, I am so so so excited!!!
Lots of hiking.
Riding in the Bountiful Handcart Days Parade on our stake's float (they were pulling a scaled down replica of the tabernacle).  Daddy walked along the route with them so he could pick them up after.
The Handcart Days Festival which included snow cones (notice whose is red?...that would be our one and only Ute Fan of the crew), mini-ferris wheel rides, fishing ponds, basketball games, etc.
A 24th of July Sunday trip to Ensign Peak...how he managed to pose them all like this without any sort of mishap is, well, amazing.
View from the Ensign Peak lookout.  Notice the little smudge of red on Liah's pants?  She took a wrong step and tripped and next thing we know...
NO MORE SNAGGLE TOOTH!!!!  Hooray!!!!!
Early morning bike rides with Zerin
He even lets Bella help him cook...this is why it's sometimes better for Mom to not be around :)
A trip to the zoo.
My sweet husband even got my picture I missed last time of Zerin being eaten by a dinosaur...sweetness.
Zerin's getting too cool to pose much anymore, so of course I had to include this one! :)
And Liah's just cute, so here you go :)
Big Mountain (where the LDS Pioneers last camped before entering the Salt Lake Valley)
This is the Place Monument
A really cool bridge on the campus of the U.  The kids loved watching the Trax go by underneath them.
Not only does he remember to take pictures, but he remembers to feed them!!!
I cannot even tell you how glad I have been to have Bryan home these last few weeks as I have been pretty worthless.  He cooks, he cleans, he scrubs, he plays with the kids, he gardens, he does laundry, he runs errands....it's ridiculously un-human how much he can accomplish in a day.  I won't lie...I'm dreading real life hitting in a couple of weeks, it has been so nice having him home!

What a fun Dad he is! I am so impressed! What a perfect time for him to be home, when you need him the most!

That is just so great! I love the one at the zoo with brother and sister hand in hand.
