How to write a really boring post, by me.

Somedays, I feel like reaching out over my blog, even though nothing very exciting has happened, or I don't have anything noteworthy to say.   So I'm sorry for the mundaneness of this entry.  Sometimes mundane can be nice, right?

Mornings right now are my favorite.  I feel best in the mornings.  The kids get their chores done, I get my chores barely begun...it's good stuff :)  

Zerin is on a bit of a church history binge right now thanks to the Work and the Glory movies.  Usually that would be a good thing, but he's asking some pretty heavy questions I thought I was better prepared to answer than I obviously am...stinkin' smart 9 year olds any way!  I told Bryan he is not allowed to finish any projects, eat, or die until we have this resolved :)  For those of you who think I can't delegate, take that ;)

Liah 'lost' her top tooth at the dentist yesterday.  She and I both had little cavities.  Our dentist is so cute with her, he had told her she had a little hole he had to fix, but I had a cavity.  So she was bragging to her siblings about how the dentist was fixing her hole, but how I had to get shots for my cavity :)  He was so good with her, she didn't flinch for the shots or anything...he even gave her an extra shot so he could pull her tooth right out...it had been hanging for months because she was too scared to touch it or have anyone else touch it.  Luckily half-way through this post I remembered the tooth fairy hadn't yet made it to our house... crisis averted!

The little boys are cute as ever...always talking, teasing, and trying to eat.  They start asking for snacks 10 minutes after breakfast and that continues nearly non-stop for the rest of the day.  Asher has the perfect 'you busted me with food' face.  I have seen that look many, many times lately :)  On the bright side, both boys are getting lots better at doing their chores which makes me soooooo happy!

Belen is also cute, but she is also in a very bossy stage right now.  She loves to yell at the dogs, or the kids, or both when they are doing something she perceives to be against the rules.  Most of the time, it is pretty funny.  But I won't lie, I'll be happy when she figures out talking is much more fun than screaming to express her frustration.  She has some lungs!  She is also turning into a huge tease.  The other night, she didn't want to go to bed so she hid her pajamas from me and just started laughing.  She is a hoot :)

We got our zinnias, marigolds, and sunflowers planted this week, which means that we have officially got our garden completely planted...barring anymore snowstorms!
