Easter Saturday...
This year, the Saturday before Easter fell on my Dad's 58th birthday so we went to Hyrum to celebrate with an Easter egg hunt with all the cousins at my Mom's house. It was so much fun, and I think we may have only lost one egg, which is pretty incredible since her yard is 2 acres and heavily wooded in areas! The kids kept finding Belen's eggs and putting them on the grass right in front of her so she could pick them up and put them in her own basket. I'm sure it may come as a shock to her someday when they aren't as accommodating, and she actually has to LOOK for them. Bryan decided to test Zerin's skills by putting most of his eggs up trees, in rainguttars, and on top of birdhouses. It worked, because he finished finding his 10 eggs about the same time as all of the other kids :)
Afterwards, my mom, sis, and sis-in-law had all made a really nice lunch we got to enjoy together. My sister made these cute little birdie nest treats for the kids. Asher thinks his is a toy so he won't eat it yet. It was a wonderful day, and I think my dad would have loved the party :)
