The Just Dance FHE

The trouble with having just one camera, and a husband who loves to take pictures, is that the unprepared mom in me misses out on a lot of moments because the camera is MIA.  Oh well, it's a funny story anyway, so I'll share...minus the pictures :)

Last night for family night, we decided to have a Just Dance Party (we had a serious lesson last week,  and then we're having another one next week cuz of Stake Conference, so this one was ALL fun).  It was hilarious :)  Do you want to guess who the best dancer is???  It actually was pretty close, but Zerin's competitive nature kept him in the lead...at least according to the scoreboard.  It didn't matter if he was rocking out to Spice Girls, Katy Perry, or Cyndi Lauper, he was getting his groove on, and he was serious to win (even though we kept reminding him we weren't in a contest, it was all just for fun).  Aeden just looks like one giant muscle spasm when he dances, but he must have been doing something right, because he kept scoring pretty high.  The boy gets an A for enthusiasm though...he is quite the exuberant dancer :)  Liah was so cute and was all about the form...she tried SO hard to do everything perfectly, she finally forced herself to sit a few rounds out because I think the pressure she created for herself was just too much :)  And Asher and Bella, so so funny.  Bella had to have a 'controller' in her hands, so we would give her the non-working vcr remote and she was a happy clam.  Those two are going to be a force to be reckoned with at the local high school sock hops in a coming day.  Bryan even got into it, doing a mean 'Eye of the Tiger' and 'You Can't Touch This.'  I couldn't stop laughing, mainly because rhythm has never been one of his strong points, but enthusiasm always has...quite the deadly combination if you ask me :)
