Another batch of blessings

This has been a tricky month.  Not a bad one, just a tricky one.  Kids needing stuff to start school, cars needing to be fixed, registered, dr. visits, ER visit, etc.  You all know what I'm talking about.  We've all been there.  Nothing bad, just normal stuff.  So one of my quandaries this week has been how to make groceries for 3 meals stretch into 7.

Blessing #1:  We have a garden!  What a blessing it has been to have a garden that has actually produced something useful.  Today I canned 7 pints of beans, and froze a bunch of corn, pumpkin, squash, and tomato puree.

Blessing #2:  A few days ago, my mom-in-law gave us some meat from her freezer she no longer wanted that will be PERFECT for some stirfrys and Sunday dinners.

Blessing #3:  Yesterday, my mom sent me some coupons for some things we have really needed...how did she know??? :)

Blessing #4:  Last night, we went to the ward picnic, and one of the ladies in charge of it started throwing food in a box and handing it to me.

Suffice it to say that with all of these blessings, we now have way more than we need to carry us through.  All I can say is tithing blessings are alive and well, and I couldn't be more grateful.
Happy day :)
