A happy beginning...

I went to bed last night after learning about a miracle that happened to some of our good friends. Their story is not mine to tell, but the gist of things is that they have struggled to build their family...so so so many challenges and so much opposition. The road was long getting their first child, and it has not relented as they have searched for their second. I found out last night they now have a little boy waiting for them, they just have to finish some paperwork... I'm overcome. They are two of the neatest people you will ever meet, and they have been through so much as they have worked to find the children that are meant to be theirs. To see things fall into place like this is nothing short of a miracle.

I am just so grateful for a Heavenly Father that even in our darkest hours when it feels like we have been completely left alone to our demise, He quietly and lovingly stands by us and waits while we are slowly refined and chiseled. I am grateful that no pain or suffering escapes His loving eye. I am grateful for the "tender mercies" He bestows that can make so many wrongs right. I'm grateful for families...for that's really where all of our joys truly lie.

You're such an inspiration Tiff. I'm thrilled for your friends, Heavenly Father does love us and bless each of us with what's best. It's that refiner's fire that gets so hot you can't stand it that many of us hate - but he is there - you're right!

Thanks Tiffany. You guys are great. Thanks for caring so much. It's a greater source of comfort than you know. We know you're not quite perfect yet (partially because you live in Bountiful), but you certainly embody charity.
