Happy 33rd Anniversary!

Thursday marks my parents 33rd anniversary. They were engaged for four years (not months...years!). They got engaged, and then a bit later, my dad decided to serve a mission. He was called to serve in the Fiji Niue Mission. After he got home, and a period of reaqainting...they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Nine months and five days later, I was born. What an awesome way to start your first year of marriage :)

We lived in a small cottage in the backyard of a home in salt lake. A short time later, we moved to Cache Valley. While we lived in Hyrum, my next younger brother, Cody Jon was born. About 3 years later, and shortly after moving to Logan, my next brother, Christopher Terry was born. And then, about another 3 years later, I finally got my wish for a sister when Jennifer Lynne was born.

My childhood was filled with trips to Bear Lake, St. George, our cabin in Rockport, and many little moments in between. My parents worked hard to make sure we had the things we needed and helped us appreciate the things we had.

How grateful I am for their choice to start an eternal unit, and for their examples that will one day reunite us.
