An Apostle's Easter Thoughts on Christ

Thank you so much to my friend, Carrie, for sharing this beautiful video of Elder Holland from this past conference. This was one of my very favorite talks...and he says things so much better than I could ever hope to.

In the moments where I have felt completely alone, it is humbling to be reminded that because of my Savior, that was never the case.
I have had a decent share of times where I have been wronged, shunned, slighted, or mistreated, but especially after I heard this talk last week, I couldn't help but feel ashamed as I realized that I haven't got a clue as to what it means to truly be alone and forsaken by all. Nothing I have, or ever will experience will even come remotely close to what the Savior suffered for me...and not that I have had it all that hard, but to me, that says a lot. I am grateful for His love. I am in awe of His sacrifice. I hope to someday be able to emulate His perfect example of what true charity really means.
