February 11 - A Temple Tour....chapter 5

Continuing on....

On our way home from the ballet, Bryan mentioned that as part of his job, he took care of the live plants in the Salt Lake Temple. It was currently closed for cleaning, so he wanted to know if I would like a tour (I had already recieved my endowments a few months before). He told me to meet him for lunch and we would go.

I half way thought he would forget, or in the middle of the night realize what he had gotten himself into and stand me up, but the next day he was there, like he said, so off we went.

It was a little surreal being in the temple with no one else (other than the trusty security). It was so quiet, even for the temple. We made our way through a few different rooms...he would explain little things here and there to me. I found myself even more impressed with how amazing he was. He was spiritual, he was funny, he was cute...and he was paying attention to ME! I began preparing myself for what was sure to be the mother of all broken hearts as we wound our way through the temple.

We stopped in one particular room, when he told me it was his very favorite room in all of the temple. He has this look where he stares into your soul...I could barely look at him. I cannot put into words how I felt, other than to say I felt like my entire being was on fire...good fire. Looking back, it was then I knew I was going to marry him.

Okay, I guess I need to go to the ballet because you've got me curious. What's "THAT"?

HEHEHEHEE - you do a great job at telling this story - all stories for that matter! I have enjoyed it! Can't wait for the next chapter. What was the favorite room?
