Life is fragile...

Without going into lots of details, my mind has really been on how fleeting this life is, and how I need to try harder to be happy with today. I have some awesome reasons for not living in the moment...here's a few of my tried-and-true favorites for your entertainment pleasure:

  • My house isn't finished
  • I don't have a couch to sit on to watch TV...this one is an amazing inhibitor..you'd be surprised
  • I don't have art on my walls, so I have to walk by and imagine it...that takes way too much energy, trust me
  • I don't have a landscaped yard
  • My kids aren't all potty trained
  • Bryan doesn't feel good
  • After 12+ years of post high school education...we're STILL relatively poor...annoying!
  • I can't enjoy so-and-so because they do ______. I will enjoy them once THEY change! (wow, that's nice, isn't it?)
  • I don't feel good
  • It's too hard to do _____________ with kids (this applies to mostly everything I have decided :) )
Now that those are out of the way, seriously! How lame is that?! Am I going to remember in 20 years all these stupid reasons I had for not doing things I want or loving people more? I seriously doubt it.

You may remember them, but that could be a good thing. You just need to take one day at a time. And I know believe me that some days it would be so easy to not crawl out of bed and deal with life, but we have to. Sometimes when we look on the negative it is hard to be positive. Thatis how I feel about church. When I start making a list of all the things I don't do, it is hard for me to want to go, but if I just try to be positive and say you know what it doesn't matter God still loves me it makes it easier.
I hope things start to look up for you. Just keep your head up.If you need some help let me know. I know after I got most of my basement done we just stopped. SO there are things lots of little things that still need to be done.
I hope that you and Brian start feeling better
Love Ya

We went without a couch for a short while once. Not great. Better than going without TV though.
