Last night marked our last official night of summer as a family. I cannot believe school is here already...didn't we just have Christmas??? To celebrate, we embarked on an adventurous quest to the backyard. Here's a little of what we did:
- BBQ on a blanket
- Roasted marshmallows
- Sang songs
- Told ghost stories
- Made "delicious hot shmo's."
- Camped in our spacious 3 room tent
- Played Spin Uno
Asher made it in the tent until about 9:30...then he fell asleep, so up to the house he went. Liah got scared about 10 and ventured up to her own nice warm bed (she was convinced bad guys were going to come jump on the tent in the middle of the night). Aeden did great until 2:10 when he woke up in hysterics :) So we ventured up to his bed. Zerin was the only die-hard...lasting until 7:30 am.

What a fun night!! I can't believe it is school time already. I never thought seeing my kids start school would be so hard! Good luck on Monday:)
that looks like a lot of fun! is it legal to have a campfire in your backyard? lol
