All I Want for Christmas...

Tomorrow, Bryan is going to one last doctor. I am not expecting a cure at this point, I am just hoping for some answers as to what he is dealing with. Don't get me wrong, if he fixes Bryan, I will be the first one to do the Toyota jump in the doctor's office, but wellness doesn't seem to be in our cards right now, and that's just fine. Plenty of people have it SO much worse, I know I have no room for complaint.

On that note, Bryan was telling Zerin last night that we are hoping to be in our new house by Christmas (I am hoping sooner). They talked about that for a minute, then the conversation went something like this:

Zerin: "Can I ask Santa for anything I want for Christmas?"

Bryan: "Yes, but Santa gets to pick, and you might not get everything you ask for."

Zerin: "If I tell him I don't want any toys can he make you better? That's all I want for Christmas this year."

Bryan: - Silence -

Maybe we'll write our letters to Santa today :)

Okay, that is the sweetest thing I have heard in a while. That is heart melting.

Ah - what a sweet thought. I always knew Zerin had something special in him. I bet that just brought tears to your eyes!

Hey Tiffany, I linked here from Courtney's blog. It's so good to have an update on your cute family. I'm sorry you have been dealing with Brian's unknown medical issues. That is so stressful. I love it when kids are selfless like that though - willing to give up their wants for someone else's well being. That is so sweet of Zerin. I hope you figure out what's going on. I'm thinking you might need a man even bigger and better than Santa. We'll keep you in our prayers. -Maria

I hope you guys can find out what's wrong with Brian soon. As if being sick isn't bad enough, and not knowing what the problem is.... what a nightmare.

Zerin is so sweet. How can you not melt when kids say things like that?
