The kids' elementary school sponsors an annual Hoop Shoot Contest for the students. This is the 2nd year Zerin has done it. I love how excited and intense he gets about these different things he wants to do, especially sports. This year, he wasn't as happy with his results (he made 2 shots), but I was so proud of him for being willing to not only try, but then, when he didn't do as well as he'd hoped, for picking himself up by his bootstraps and already start planning his strategy for next year. I have such a great kid :)
