Zerin found out yesterday that he was invited to be one of 80 students from 3 districts to perform at this year's Weber State University Storytelling Festival at the end of the month! At least in our district, he was one of the youngest kids there, so we were pretty excited and surprised that he was selected to perform. This is the story he will be telling...for those of you who like children's fiction, Brandon Mull is the author of the 'Fablehaven' series. Zerin had to get permission from the publisher to perform this story. He has the chance to be coached next week at the district by some professional storytellers as part of this whole experience. He is pretty excited about the whole process, and it has been fun to see him be able to showcase his love of reading.

That is awesome!!! Way to go Zerin! What a neat thing for him to be able to do.
That's really cool. Good for him and good for his parents who tapped into that gift. Wish we were there!
