Today was my birthday, I am officially 34 (eek!), and it was a truly great day.
It started off with Liah waking herself up at 6:30 am to help Bryan make me breakfast in bed. For those of you who don't know our little Sleeping Beauty...this was a VERY big deal!. It was..a schmorgasborg of toast and raspberry jam and raspberry toaster strudels. Probably one of my favorite breakfasts ever :)
I got the kids off to school...with little to no fuss which was awesome.
I played Memory with my little boys. I could have totally won, but I didn't. I'm such a good mom ;)
I blogged about Zerin's birthday (only a week late).
I thought about planning Zerin's birthday party which I realized is supposed to be in 2 days. I guess I can finish that tomorrow, right?!
I switched up my blog...something I have a hard time taking the time to do when there's SO much else to do, but it was a gift to myself you could say :) The kiddies watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and I had an enjoyable hour of near guilt-free laziness. Bliss.
I took my kids to play practice...I am the proud mother of an Oompa-Loompa and a Squirrel!!!!
I got over 70 messages and texts wishing me happy birthday. Yes, it's true, facebook made me cry :)
Bryan came home and made me one of 3 foods I am constantly craving...spaghetti! It was so stinkin' good! I don't think I've been able to eat that much in a single sitting for a long, long time. TANGENT: I have become a stereotypical pickle-loving pregnant woman. The other night, I was so sick, I literally ate an entire bowl of pickles. It settled my tummy enough that I was able to have, you guessed it, ICE CREAM! I am so weird. I seriously used to think that those cravings were a joke, and that women just made that up for sympathy. I think these symptoms of this pregnancy are punishment for my past judgementalness (if that's a word).
Later, we opened presents and ate cake with Bryan's mom. I got spoiled rotten with a cooshy pumpkin colored blanket that my sweet kids bought me with their own money [Sidenote: their original consensus was to buy me a zhu-zhu pet, but Bryan somehow managed to sway them in the direction of the blanket instead...thankfully! :)]. Bryan got me the most comfortable pajama pants EVER, and the most pretty, foofy body pillows, a new extra-firm bed pillow (yay for hopefully waking up without a headache!). He knows me so so well! Bryan's mom gave me a book of primary piano music that is easy enough for me to actually play, but not too easy. I even played it with her in the house which I never do because I hate playing in front of people that play so much better than me...so that says a lot! And then we ate cake, which Bryan made, and frosted, and it was goood :) Bella kept trying to stick her fist in it and couldn't understand why I wouldn't let her...I'm so mean.
So here's to being 34...and here's to my favorite year ever [hopefully!]

I know I never called and wished you a good day, but my wife did. The more years we live through, the more our bodies seem to remind us. Here's to having a good start to mid-30's for you :)
Happy birthday!!
Yep, Tiffany, time to embrace the thrities. I'm convinced this is the best decade and that 30s are the new 20s. I'm loving it. (Well, except for all the grey hair that I need to dye!)
