Bryan set out at 4 am yesterday morning with Zerin, Liah and Aeden to go hike the Arches with his brother's family. I really wanted to go, but I had a yucky feeling about it, so I opted to stay home with the two youngers. Turns out, Asher spent most of the day throwing up, so it seemed to be a good thing I stayed home. They got to the trailhead just before 9 am, and pulled in the driveway just after 10 pm last night. A long day to be sure, but they had a wonderful time. I will tell you what though, my nerves were sure glad to see that van roll into my driveway :) Thank goodness for good friends with fun projects (not to mention a barfing child) to keep me busy throughout the day.

We did that hike to Delicate Arch a few years ago (after we'd done little hikes all day). We weren't sure we were all going to make it. You have tough kids! That's a long day of driving & hiking. I'm glad they made it home safe, too!
