We went to the parade yesterday, and it was so much fun! I don't have pics because I was strollerless, Bryanless for a time, and hanging onto all four kids, so sorry :( My favorite part, not to be biased, was Asher. First thing, was of course, all of the people on the floats were throwing candy. So he would run, pick it up, and then throw it back at us and the people sitting next to us. He has quite an arm, so it got a little dicey there for a minute. I think he got tired of looking for candy at one point, so he resorted to plundering the candy piles of the family sitting next to us....adding insult to their injuries! ;)
Then, there's this place called Cookie Cutters kid salon, and they had a giant gingerbread man in the parade. As soon as Asher saw him, he RAN as fast as he could after him. Bryan got him the first time, only to have Asher completely melt down. We were laughing so hard...he put him down once the gingerbread man was what we considered to be at a safe distance, only to have him take off into an even faster run. I think it's safe to say that had we let him run to his full potential, that gingerbread man would have been crumbs in no time ;)

Funny! I can picture the entire event. I LOVE IT! The candy throwing makes me laugh. I can totally picture Preston doing something like that. And that poor innocent gingerbread man. He's lucky you and Bryan were there to save him from the dreaded toddler. :)
That is too funny! I am loving that he was throwing candy and the gingerbread thing, that just makes me laugh!
