Many many thanks!!!

So yesterday's garage sale was a huge success! I have a lot of thank you's, so here we go...

First, I have to thank Kevin Eubank for coming through for me on the weather. I was a little nervous Friday because it kept looking like it wanted to rain. It took me the better part of Friday to pull everything out and put it in some kind of order.

I have to thank Bryan because, as everyone knows, Bryan rocks. He felt pretty gross, and even stayed home from work because his eye was nasty gross. I think he caught pink eye from a bunch of little first grade girls...the perils of public education :) He seriously was such a trooper. His eye was just nasty goopy and he felt really crummy, but he still got the stuff out that was too big for me to get out. Whattaguy!

I also have to thank Dallin for his awesome PR and marketing skills. I know we owe a lot to his incredible long-distance abilities in those departments.

Also, a thank you goes to Zerin. His incredible salesmanship yielded more than $35 from his lemonade stand. The boy is Trump in training.

My thank you's wouldn't be complete without mentioning Alex, Marne, Travis, who took great pleasure at making the 3 house trek to bring stuff from Mom's house to ours. There was so much stuff, and they just kept coming with more stuff. Troopers! Alex hung around not only to help with the garage sale itself, but then...he stayed and helped haul all the leftovers off. Took an hour and a half instead of all night...THANK YOU!

Danelle & Kade spent the better part of Friday AND Saturday with us, keeping us company and helping me keep the money organized. I cannot believe how good she is...I can pretty much guarantee I wouldn't be going much of anywhere if I had just had a c-section. She's amazing.

Thanks to Bountiful City for having their spring cleanup this week, and having the dump be free this week and next. That has been an ENORMOUS help!!!

THEN, there's all the people from the ward and neighborhood who not only brought stuff to donate, but then turned around and came back to buy stuff. Two of my favorite moments were the sweet lady who came and donated a book, then she decided her son would need it, so she came on Saturday and bought it back for $5 :) Another story was a man who came after we had mostly cleaned up, but he spotted a milk crate he wanted, and wrote me out a check for $50 to secure it's ownership. So many many other people were awesome and just came to support, and I just felt very overwhelmed and grateful at the goodness of people.

At final count, we raised $550 for Mom's bathroom. People are very very good.
