Things only a mother could love...

Sacrament meeting is our weekly high adventure activity. It always consists of lots of running, diving, dashing, and high speed crashes. This week did not disappoint. In the midst of lots of squirming, and up and down-edness...these were some of my most memorable moments of the afternoon...

The first half of the meeting made us think we were perhaps in the clear. Asher climbed onto Grandma's lap and fell asleep...nice. He looked so cute and snuggle-icious...I was only a little jealous that the calm one wanted her :)

THEN...

At one point, Aeden walked in front of us, facing the congregation. In a quiet voice, he was like, Why is everybody asweep? Even Gwandma's asweep. GWANDMA! Wake UP!!! Asher, wake up!

A few minutes later, Bryan made the mistake of scooting onto Aeden's Cars Snow hat. Grabbing his hat, and holding it close to Bryan's face, he yelled, Daddy you eed to say sowwy to my Caws hat. Say sowee Daddy!

At another point, Zerin wanted to cuddle with me, and have me scratch his back, which I did. Then Liah wanted to sit on my lap and have me color with her, which I did. Now, keep in mind, my lap is shrinking like the Polar Ice Caps...got the picture? Okay, so then, Aeden escapes Bryan's careful eye, and wants me to hold him. So at this point, Aeden is kind of half sitting on my lap, commenting on the goings on of the ward sitting behind us, Liah is coloring on the bulk of my lap, grabbing my "free"hand to color with her, and Zerin is falling asleep on my coloring "free" hand.

And finally, Aeden informed me when there was about 10 minutes left that he was going outside in the snow to dry his tie which he had spilled water on, and he bolted toward the door. At the same time, Asher woke up, and bolted toward the organ...so with one arm I swooped Asher, the other I swooped Aeden.

I'm pretty sure I heard laughter in the background as me and my red-faced self raced for the door, but I was too embarrassed to find out if it really was about my well behaved children, or if it was the man in tears at the front bearing his testimony. I guess we'll never know :)
