So, I have been burying one of my secret addictions for a while now. Mostly because I have serious self-control issues, and once I get into something, I am compulsive about it and I can't think of much else. Yes friends, I am talking about family history. My mom-in-law is more addicted than I am, and last night, successfully sucked me back in :)
I am doing this wall in our basement, and let me tell you what, it's gonna be AWESOME!!! It will kind of look like this...this is one my cute aunt did at her house. Only instead of individual pictures, wherever possible mine is going to be couple/wedding pictures...isn't it going to be so cute?! At the very top, I am going to have the quote by Marjorie Pay Hinckley in vinyl on the wall that reads Family is Everything. But finding some of these pictures is proving to be a bit problematic. Especially since the resident expert on that side of the family was deaf and passed away a few years ago...bummer! Anyways, the search is on for these pictures, and I have high hopes.
Oh, and my new best friend is http://www.ancestry.com/ It's probably not good to admit that out loud, but seriously!!! I'm addicted, and I'm loving it :)
