We were supposed to go to the firestation and visit with the firemen and see their trucks...but they were called out on a call, so we hung out for a while, when this cute police man came to our rescue (the kids were getting restless waiting). He brought out a big bag of handcuffs and chains. The kids thought that was awesome. It was a little unsettling to see Aeden and Liah so happy about being handcuffed, but they were happy, so what are ya gonna do? :) He then brought them rulers, coloring books and suckers. The firemen never did get back (which hello! I'm so glad...that's what they should be doing. I think I'd be a little miffed if I were dying and they came out to save me, but then said, "Oh sorry, we have a preschool fieldtrip we have to go host...there's a hospital not far from here." Good times
